Dana Kraft’s yoga experience is about limitless possibilities on and off the mat. She fills the room with her sense of fun and radiance and empowers her students through her philosophy- the challenges we face in our yoga practice parallel the obstacles we face in our daily lives; breathe through them on the mat, and we can overcome them off the mat.
Dana’s approach to teaching stems from her belief that yoga is accessible to everyone. Her experience as a former high school teacher enables her to effectively work with students by differentiating between learning styles and using the one that is most applicable for that individual student. Dana is known for her hands on approach and sheer enthusiasm and joy for the practice. Her personal style of teaching yoga draws attention to breath, alignment, and incorporates intelligent sequencing. She creates a safe space for her students where they can focus on cultivating courage and compassion from within, leading to clarity. Her students work to balance that fine line between ease and effort creating the endurance and fortitude they need to overcome the obstacles on and off the mat and enjoy a fulfilling life.
Dana has worked with high profile private clientele on both the east and west coast, ranging from various NBA and NFL teams; including the 2015 NBA Champions Golden State Warriors. She works with individual major league athletes, musicians, Broadway talent, top models, and film and television actors.
Dana is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT and yoga certified by Pure Yoga in New York. A Detroit native, she graduated from the University of Michigan (BFA in Musical Theatre) and then moved to New York City where she earned a Masters in Educational Theatre and English Education from New York University.
Dana maintains a thriving public class and private practice in Los Angeles. She co-founded and is co-lead teacher of Yoga 108: 200 Hours of Mind, Body, & Spirit Teacher Training, and guest lectures in various teacher trainings in the state of California. Dana is available for teacher trainings, workshops, private and corporate instruction.

Yoga and Meditation with Dana Kraft is truly a gift to the universe. Yoga and Meditation is not in the heated rooms at Set and Flow Yoga; however, it gets just as sweaty. Dana takes her time guiding you through your flow, working on a strong yoga/meditative practice. I am simply obsessed with this class. To be honest, it’s the main reason I’m so addicted to this studio. Dana also sings at the end of the meditation with such beauty and grace, I couldn’t tell if it was a recording or her voice.

I’m really loving Dana Kraft’s Yin/Yang perfectly balanced class on Saturdays at Yogaworks West Hollywood! And Dana’s energy and voice (she also chants at the end and it took a couple of times for me to get – with my eyes closed – that she was actually singing live), is just awesome.
